VERMONT:
Applicants must be graduating from Windsor High School, Stevens High School, Springfield High School, Woodstock Union High School, Hartford High School, Bellows Falls Union High School, or Hanover High School.

To be eligible, students must:

• Have applied to be a full-time student at a two-year or four-year accredited college.

• Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.

• Be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Computer Science, Human Resources, Sales/Marketing, or a business/manufacturing/technical field.

Application packages must have the following to be considered:

• Application Form — Fully completed.

• Personal Essay — A typewritten current-year personal essay that includes educational, career, and personal goals. Essay must include a statement on what a Spirol scholarship would mean to you.

• Personal Summary — A summary sheet stating personal interests, current extracurricular activities, recent work experience, and recent special honors or awards received.

• Letters of Recommendation — Two current-year letters of recommendation. Please do not send separately.

• Community Service/Involvement — A current-year narrative describing the community service/involvement or activities in which you have actively participated. Also, a reference letter supporting the community service event that you participated in. Note: this letter is in addition to the letter of recommendation required.

Complete application package must be mailed to the attention of Flora Houle at SPIROL and received by us no later than Monday, April 26, 2010.
